Racine – Lucas Michael Friedenreich, age 39, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Lucas was born in Racine on May 13, 1984 to Lisa J. (nee: Fritch) and Michael Friedenreich. He graduated from Walden III High School and went on to further his education at Gateway, UW-Parkside, UW-Milwaukee and University of Iowa. Lucas was an ardent student and very much enjoyed learning to become a Cyber Security IT Specialist.

Lucas was passionate about learning and once a new subject was found, poured his mind/focus into studying about it.   Among his interests, he was a great fan of the San Franciso 49ers, Milwaukee Brewers, and was very knowledgeable about their sports statistics. Lucas had a kind, wonderful heart and enjoyed spending time with his family and circle of friends.

Surviving are his mother & step-father, Lisa & Eddie Ward; father & step-mother, Michael & Michelle Friedenreich; sister, Jamie (Alex Niece) Friedenreich; brother, Ryan Friedenreich; auntie, Catherine (Bill) Andersen; uncles, Gordon (Heidi) Fritch, and David (Shannon) Pryse, and Fred (Leola) Ward; cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A commemoration celebrating Lucas's life will be provided by Gordon Fritch, held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 11:00 – 1:00 pm. Private interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
