Lucille M Ciaramita, 94, passed away peacefully at her son's home, on Monday December 7, 2020. She was born in South Beloit, IL on February 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Peter and Dora (nee: Passalaqua) Sciacca.

On June 1, 1946 at St. Peter Catholic Church, South Beloit, IL she was united in marriage to Joseph Ciaramita. They were married for 57 years, and he preceded her in death in July of 2003. She was employed by the Freeman Shoe Company for over 37 years. Mrs. Ciaramita was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

Surviving are her son, Peter Ciaramita, of Racine; three grandchildren, Amy (Geoff) Schiveley, Jeff (Brittany) Ciaramita, and Christi (Chuck) Toman; 9 great-grandchildren, Connor and Aydan Schiveley, Josie, Stella, and Milo Ciaramita, and Alexandra, Sidney, Jessica and Chuckie Toman. In addition to her husband and parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Lynne Ciaramita, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Harold Quackenbush.

Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to all. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing cards, and having coffee with friends. She will be dearly missed.

Service Details

Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, December 19 ^th , at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Terry Huebner officiating. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, there will be a limit of 25 people in the chapel for the service. There will be a visitation from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
