Racine – Lyle Gordon Gunderson, 79, passed away at All Saints Hospital on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. A lifelong resident of Racine, Lyle was born on September 17, 1936 to the late Morlan and Bernadette (nee: Springer) Gunderson. Lyle graduated from St. Catherine's High School in 1956, and then served 2 years in the US Marines Corps.

Lyle is survived by his grandchildren, Donald Gunderson of Racine, and James Gunderson of Boston, Massachusetts; his sisters, Janice DeHahn of Racine, and Ruth Shilts of Delavan; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend, He was preceded in death by his sons, Todd Gunderson and Scott Gunderson.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016. Please meet at the gate of Calvary Cemetery (2510 Kinzie Avenue) at 10:45.
