KENOSHA – Mrs. Lynn Steenhagen, 75, passed away at The Bay at Burlington on Monday, June 29, 2020.

She was born in Racine on August 25, 1944, the daughter of the late Michael and Genevieve (nee: Kime) Pavia.   She graduated from Washington Park High School.

In 1986 she married Kenneth W. Steenhagen.  He preceded her in death on October 8, 2013.  Lynn worked as a shipping and receiving clerk at A&E Tools for 24 years; retiring 2006.  She enjoyed camping, word search puzzles and being in the company of her family and her poodle, Noodles.  In her later years she enjoyed her time at Daybreak doing arts and crafts.

Lynn is survived by her children, Stephanie (Jim Wells) Busby of Kenosha, Lisa Busby of Racine, Keith Busby of Kenosha; her stepchildren, Colleen Steenhagen, Corey Steenhagen both of Kenosha, Shawn (Rhonda) Steenhagen of Madison, Cameron (Nami) Steenhagen of California; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren; her sisters and brother, Joan Trower of Racine, Judy (Frank) Supko of Burlington; Michael (Marsha) Pavia of Venice, FL; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 for a visitation from 4-6 p.m.  A private service for her immediate family will take place on Thursday.   She will be interred at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.  In accordance with the Racine County mandate, only 50 people will be allowed to enter the funeral home at a time.  For the safety and security of our guests we also strongly encourage those in attendance to bring and wear a face covering.  We thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.

I have many memories of my Aunt Lynn. In them, she was always smiling and laughing.
Looking forward to when we see each other again in Heaven. Praying for the family to honor her by sharing God’s love. Hugs and my deepest sympathy to my cousins.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

Thank you Mark, Mike, Mr. Langendorf, Bob Funk, & the entire staff!!
Mark & staff, you were so welcoming and loving you made us feel like we were at home. Your service & attention to detail was above & beyond anything I’ve ever seen & this did not go unnoticed by those who attended. I cannot express the gratitude we feel for making our father’s showing & funeral a peaceful, respectful, & dignified event. Mark and the entire staff are to be commended for their work and their graciousness. God Bless you all!
