Marinette- Marcel Emil Gesquiere, 93, formerly of Racine, passed away in Marinette, WI on November 18, 2006. He was born in Belgium on July 28, 1913. Living in the United States since he was teenager, Marcel lived most of his life in Racine until moving to Marinette in 2004. Retired from SC Johnson Wax, he was a longtime member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. On July 5, 1953 he was united in marriage with Helen Pankoff, who survives him, along with their son and daughter-in-law, John and Anita Gesquiere. As his parents died when he was just a toddler, Marcel was raised and preceded in death by his faithful aunt and uncle, Palmyra and Henry DeBaets. Private services will be held with entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, Highway 32. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
