Racine, WI – Marcus D. Caldwell Jr., passionately known as "Earl" was born on December 10,1999 and transitioned from earth on October 17, 2020 at the tender age of 20. He is survived by his Parents: Veronica McMorris & Marcus Caldwell Sr., Step-father: Damien McCray, Grand Father: Tommy F. Brown, Daughter & Mother: Mar'zyria Caldwell, Marazia Gates, Siblings: Martanequia Drane, Marquajha Caldwell, Marcus Caldwell, A'Miyia Caldwell, Princeton Caldwell, Deante Woods, Akalya Bond, all of Racine, WI. Aunts:Tracy McMorris, Lakisha Brown, Sharee Watson, Margaret Caldwell, Uncles: Cory Brown, Tommy Brown Jr., Kevin & Stephanie Caldwell,  Broc & Jennifer Jones, Nieces & Nephews: Samiyah, Ma'kylaa, Ma'kenzi, Ja'miya, Legacy, Zalaya, A'Mierrion, Major, Legend, Jordan Jr.  Special Cousins: Daizon Scott, J'montae Bogan, Sean Herndon, Raachee Davis, Friends George, Joe, Samarion, Derrick, Logan, Willie, Deontray, Chris, Derick, JC Butler, Special Friend: Amanda, Mentors: Jason, Jimmie, Jarvis, Caron Butler, Coach Pope, and Horlick High School staff.

He graduated from William Horlick High School in Racine, WI, and was an Alumni at Bryant & Stratton.  Marcus had a smile that would light up the entire room when he entered. He was a social, active young man who was deeply involved in basketball. He was able to have a positive impact on the community by becoming a coach to a small youth basketball team " The Clippers" during his adulthood. Another love Marcus had was dancing and listening to music, as this was his regular routine especially before his games. Earl loved to spend quality time with his daughter and interacting with his family and friends. If anyone needed him, he was always a phone call away and if your spirit was down, he was able to be a light on a cloudy day. Earl was formally employed at Valid Kixx as well as Andis Clippers in Racine.

He is preceded in death by his Grandmothers: Cheryl McMorris, Eva Caldwell, Great-Grandmother and Great Grandfather: Nancy & Roosevelt McMorris Sr., Margaret Avent, Uncles: Tony McMorris, Antonio Brown, Aunt: Brenda McMorris.

A Celebration of Earl's Amazing Life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020, 11:00am at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home Chapel, Racine, WI.  Visitation will be from 8:00am-11:00am in the chapel. Pastor Roy L. Carter will be officiating. Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery.

The number of people allowed to enter the building at one time during the visitation will be regulated at the entrance, you may be required to wait outside until others leave the building and only 50 designated people will be allowed to remain in the building for Earl's funeral service. The State of Wisconsin mandates for the safety and security of all guests, that those in attendance are required to wear a face covering and observe social distancing requirements while in the building and in the parking lot.  Thank you to everyone for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
