Service Details

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, September 13, 2025, for a visitation from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

 

A service celebrating his life will follow at 4:00 pm.

 

A private interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.

Memorials have been suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Habitat for Humanity. 

MOUNT PLEASANT – Marcus R. Jensen, 69, passed away at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee on Saturday, August 30, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Racine, he was born on October 9, 1955, the son of the late Lowell and Marie (nee Atkins) Jensen. Marc married the love of his life Cheryl A. Jensen on August 2, 1980, at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.  They were married for 45 years.

Marc retired after 25 years as an electrician for Chrysler Corporation in Kenosha in 2009, and was a member of UAW. He then decided to work for Case Corporation until 2014.

Marc was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working in his yard. Marc was known for his mechanical aptitude and enjoyed working on construction projects and rebuilding small engines. He enjoyed Racine history and always knew what was going on. He enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts. Marc will be dearly missed by his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Cheryl , Marc is survived by his two children, Zach Jensen and Alan Jensen; his brothers, Brian Jensen and Phil Jensen; his mother-in-law, Carol Jensen; his brothers-in-law, Brian (Jackie) Jensen and Steven Jensen; and nephews, Eric Jensen, and Darnell Jensen, and many cousins.

Marc was also preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Marie (nee Atkins) Jensen, brother, Steven Jensen, and his father-in-law, Larry Jensen.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, September 13, 2025, for a visitation from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. A service celebrating his life will follow at 4:00 pm. A private interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
