Obituary

Margaret Annette (nee: Strong) Hunt was born on January 22, 1932 to the union of Andrew and Carrie (Peaches) Strong in Vicksburg, MS. Margaret Hunt received her formal education at Bonner High School. Margaret was a member of All Nations Pentecostal Prayerhouse, where she was on the both the Missionary and Mother's Board. She was joined in holy matrimony to Joe Hunt in Los Angeles, CA and she was employed by St. Vincent DePaul for 17 years where she thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and helping them. Margaret departed from this life on May 29, 2015 in Los Angeles, CA. She was proceeded in death by her husband Joe Hunt; her parents Andrew and Carrie Strong Sr., siblings Andrew Strong Jr., Jesse James, Joseph Holmes, and Hattie Pierce; grand-daughter Veronica Williams; nephews James Hunter Jr., Clyde Strong, and Ricky Carson. She leaves to cherish her beloved memory 10 children; Carolyn Williams, Janice Williams, Reno(Linda) Williams, Lamont (Amy) Williams of Los Angeles, CA; Francis Williams, Melvin Williams, David (Jeanette) Williams, Eddie Williams of Racine, WI; Ruth Williams and Sarah Williams of Minneapolis, MN; siblings Louise Hunter and Virginia Lackey; sister-in-law Mary Strong all of Racine, WI. She also leaves to cherish 29 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Her Homegoing Service will be held in the All Nation Pentecostal Prayerhouse, 1502 W. 6th St. , on Saturday, June 20th, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roger Carson and Pastor Virginia Lackey officiating. Visitation will in the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Service. Private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
