Racine – Margaret Lucille Scott, 77, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 4, 2013. She was born November 8, 1933, daughter of the late John and Johanna (nee: Anderson) Scott. Margaret was raised in New Albany, Indiana, and then moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1967. She has been a Racine resident since 1998.

Margaret is survived by her children, Valeria, Darlene, Reuben, Raymond, Cheryl, Annette, and Roderick; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; her sisters Katherine Payne of Racine, Sally Jackson in California; brother Robert Scott of Indianapolis, Indiana; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers, 3 sisters, and 4 grandchildren.

Homegoing services will be held at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at 11: a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m.
