Racine – Margarita Nora Hutchison, known to all as "Maggie", received the promise of eternal life on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. She was born in London, England, on September 5, 1943, daughter of the late Rufino and Edna (nee: Bryant) Rangel.
Maggie moved to Racine in 1963. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Hugh James "Jim" Hutchison, on July 19, 1977, in Las Vegas, NV. Maggie worked as an administrative assistant for Massey Ferguson for 29 and a half years. Maggie and Jim have been long time members of St. Michael Episcopal Church. She loved working in her garden and also loved hockey. Maggie and Jim have had season tickets for years to the Milwaukee Admirals. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who loved her.
Maggie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jim Hutchison; sons, Brent (Suanne) Hutchison, Murray (Tammy) Hutchison; grandchildren, Nate (Dana) Hutchison, Gus Hutchison, Megan Hutchison, Alex Hutchison; great-granddaughter, Indie Hutchison; god-daughter, Elizabeth Schuster; sister, Loretta Brown; brother, Paul Rangel, Ricky Rangel; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.
In addition to her parents, Maggie is preceded in death by her sister, Marina (Les) Perry.
A celebration of Maggie's life will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016, 11:00am, at St. Michael Episcopal Church, 4701 Erie Street. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service. The family has suggested memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
