Marianne P. Christopherson, 92, passed away in Wheaton Franciscan Hospital-All Saints on January 8, 2015. She was born in Racine on December 31, 1922, the daughter of the late Jacob and Rosalind (nee: Dolezal) Pfeiffer.Mrs. Christopherson was a graduate of William Horlick High School. On December 11, 1943 she was united in marriage to Lt. Robert J. Mohrbacker. Lt. Mohrbacker was killed in action on March 22, 1944. On April 11, 1947 she was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Christopherson. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2002. She had been employed by the Bank of Elmwood from 1968 until her retirement in 1988.

Surviving are her nephews, William (Sherley) Benicek; great nephew, Ryan Cramer. In addition to her parents and her husbands, Mrs. Christopherson was preceded in death by her sister and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Jerome Benicek, and Paul Mohrbacker, niece, Nancy Cramer; nephews, Jim and Tim Benicek; and great niece, Jennifer Cramer.

A private service was held with entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery Hwy 32. The family has suggested memorials to either the Healthcare Network or the Evans Scholarships Foundatiuon. A very special thanks to all friends and caregivers who cared for Mrs. Christopherson these past years.
