JANESVILLE – Mark Alan Johnson, 52, passed away the William S. Middleton VA Hospital in Madison after his battle with cancer.

He was born on August 19, 1965, the son of the late Lloyd and Marlene (nee: Wenk) Johnson.  He graduated from JI Case High School in 1984.  After high school he served his nation with the US Army.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Kimberly; his granddaughter, McKenzie; his sisters and brother, Stacy (Jeff) Schmucker of Iowa, Lyn (Scott) Smith, Brian Johnson, Kristen (Ryan) Christman all of Racine ; as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

A private service with military honors will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
