Racine, WI –

Mark Anthony Mosley, age 51, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 10, 2021. He was born on January 8, 1970, in Charleston, West Virginia to Carroll (nee: Thompson) Mosley and Danny Mosley.

Mark moved to Racine, Wisconsin with his mother and other siblings in 1973. Mark loved music and being a DJ. He enjoyed working on his speakers and could fix just about any music system he came across. Mark and his twin Marcus loved to cook, and they would often fuss about who was the better cook.  He also loved gardening and mentoring anyone he had the opportunity to help. He would always have some advice to give, especially to his nieces and nephews. Mark was a loyal friend and he loved everyone, no matter who you were. He would always crack jokes and keep people laughing. Mark always wanted to lead prayer at dinner time. One of his favorite sayings was “the highways and the byways”. He loved spending time with family and friends. Most people knew him as “MM” or “Self”. Mark loved sports. He was a faithful Green Bay Packers Fan.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Carroll Mosley of Racine, WI.; his father Danny (Hoppie) Mosley of Columbus, Ohio; his children Justine Defosse of Wisconsin Dells, WI., Marquan (Dejia) Mosley of Racine, WI., Brittany Osbourne-Mosley of Milwaukee, WI., Denesha (AJ) Johnson of Racine, WI., Michael Mosley of Racine, WI., DeAngelo Mosley of Racine, WI., Mark Mosley Jr. of Charleston, WV. and Marquez Mosley of Racine, WI; his stepchildren Anthony, Ashely and Kee Kee; 16 grandchildren and 2 on the way; his brothers Danny Mosley of Racine, WI., Roy (Lisa) Mosley of Dunbar, WV., Marcus Mosley (his twin) of Racine, WI. and Jonathon Mosley of Racine, WI.; his sisters Latrinda Mosley of Columbus, OH., Joycelyn Mosley of Columbus, OH., Danielle (Randy) Mosley of Columbus, OH. and Rosanna Mosley of Columbus, OH.; his god-sisters Nannette Adams of Racine, WI. and Carmen (Tracy) Boswell of Dumfries, Virginia and his significant other and love of his life Yvette Sanders of Racine, WI. Mark will be missed by other loving family members and friends too numerous to mention by name.

Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Andrew and Lucy Thompson and his paternal grandparents Percy Mosley Sr. and Elsie Mosley; 1 grandchild and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

The Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 12:00pm. Visitation 10:00am – 12:00pm in the chapel of Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd., Racine, WI.
