With full hearts and deep gratitude for her long and generous life, we celebrate the life of Martha May Clazmer, who passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, after a short stay at Aurora Medical Center.

Martha was born on May 19, 1938, in Medford, Wisconsin, one of sixteen children born to John and Anna (Neubauer) Vesnefsky. Growing up in a large, hardworking family shaped her into the strong, caring, and thoughtful woman so many came to cherish.

In her late teens, she followed some of her siblings to Racine, where she began working at Johnson Wax. It was in Racine that she met the love of her life, Clarence Clazmer. They were married in 1959 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford and made their home in Racine, where they welcomed three children and were longtime members of St. Lucy's Catholic Church.

Martha worked for 42 years at Spring Dental Group, where she was known for her kindness and dependability. She filled her life with the things she loved most: tending to her gardens, cooking and baking for those she loved, enjoying polka music and playing the accordion. Her greatest joy, however, was her family, especially her great-grandchildren, who truly were the light of her life in her later years.

She is survived by her children: Lori (Joe) Putra and Dan (Rose) Clazmer; her grandchildren: Nicole (Nick) Sobrilsky, Jeremy Clazmer, and Justin Putra; and her great-grandchildren, Riley and Gunnar Sobrilsky.

Also surviving are her siblings: Evelyn Heldt, Laverne Grzegorek, Eugene (Shirley) Vesnefsky, Lee Roy (Patricia) Vesnefsky, Kenneth (Sharon) Vesnefsky, Dennis (Donna) Vesnefsky, Dale (Linda) Vesnefsky, Galen (Jean) Vesnefsky and her best friend and partner in crime, Geneva (John) Krueger; brother-in-law Perry Paragamian; and sister-in-law Betty Vesnefsky.

She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Clarence Clazmer; her son Kenneth Clazmer; her siblings Anna, Ronald, Bobby, Joseph, John Jr. Vesnefsky and Caroline Bittner; her parents-in-law Harry and Stella Clazmer; brothers-in-law Eugene (Doris), Dick (Jean), Robert (Mary Ann), and Thomas (Delores) Clazmer; sister-in-law Patricia Paragamian; and brothers-in-law Joseph Grzegorek and Arthur Heldt.

For the last nine months, Martha received devoted care from the compassionate staff at Meadowbrook of Racine, as well as continued support from Dr. Jennifer Lo and her team at Aurora Medical Center. Her family extends their heartfelt thanks for the kindness and comfort shown to her.

Martha lived a full, colorful, love-filled life. If the heavens sound a little more like a polka band this week, we know exactly why.

A ceremony honoring and celebrating Martha's life will take place on Monday, November 24th, 2025 at 5:00pm at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd, Mt. Pleasant, WI. Visitation will be held at the same location from 3:00–5:00pm. A private burial will follow on Tuesday, November 25th at Holy Cross Cemetery – Hwy 32.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to "St. Lucy Catholic Church" or "Autism United of Wisconsin".
