Mary Louise Erickson (nee: Miliacca) passed away at her residence on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

Mary was born in Racine to Umberto and Rosa (nee: Morelli) Miliacca. She was a graduate of Horlick High School class of 1947. Mary was united in marriage to Walter E. Erickson on October 30, 1948. She was employed by Paul's Office, Christiano's Neighborhood Store, Piggly Wiggly and the Somerset Club. Mary was a member of St. Paul the Apostle and the Catholic Woman's Club. She loved bowling and was in many leagues for many years. Mary was very competitive when playing card games and board games. Family and friends referred to her as "mother Mary" while her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren called her "Gramma GG."

Surviving are her children, Nancy (Mark) Balcer of Racine, Judy (Larry) Sell of Virginia Beach VA, Mike (Sammy) Erickson of Palm Bay, FL and Jim (Jenny) Erickson of Tomahawk, WI; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; parents, Umberto and Rosa; son, Ronald and daughter-in-law, Barb Erickson; granddaughters, Katie and Teri; brothers, Sam and Lee Miliacca.

Service Details

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mary at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, Mount Pleasant on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be in church on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of Mass. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
