Obituary

Mary Ann Graves, 80, passed way in the United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus on Monday, March 20, 2017. She was born in Racine on August 19, 1936 the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Nee: Luncner) Koretchko.

On July 29, 1961, at Pentecost Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to Gordon Graves, and together they shared 55 years of life and love. Mary Ann was a graduate of Racine Lutheran High School, Class of 1954. She had been employed by S.C. Johnson & Son for over 20 years. Mary Ann was a lifelong member of Pentecost Lutheran Church and its many organizations including the Ruth Circle and the 55 Plus Club, and she was also active in The Johnson 20 Year Club and the J.M.B.A.

Surviving are her husband, Gordy; three sons, Dave (Jeanne) Graves, of Jackson, WI, Dan (Angelia "Boe") Graves, of Durango, CO, Tim (Kirsten) Graves, of Racine; eight grandchildren, Becki (fiancé, Brent Snider) Graves, Kelly Graves, Allie (Brian) Nigbur, Tanner Graves, Katie Graves, Emma Graves, Julia Graves, and Claire Graves; one great grandson, William Snider; twin brother, Jim "Jazz" (Karen) Koretchko, of Lakeland, FL. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family, and friends also survive her.

Service Details

Her funeral service will be held in Pentecost Lutheran Church, 2213 Coolidge Ave, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25 th , with Rev. Luke Jacob officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
