Mary "Doll' Lynn Jones

Service Details

Her Homegoing Celebration will be held in Jesus Alive Ministries Church, 3011 Erie St. on December 5th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be in the Church from10:00 a.m. until the time of the Service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.

Mary Lynn Jones, 72, of Racine, completed her earthly pilgrimage on Sunday, November 16, 2025. She was born in Taylor, MS on May 7, 1953, the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Elnora (nee Martin) Jones Sr.

She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. After Mary Lynn moved to Racine, She was later employed by Goodwill Industries and Coverall Cleaning Services. She was a member of Full Gospel Living Word Church.

Mary Lynn was a talented colorist and artist who took great joy in her work. She loved to create, to experiment with color, and to bring her artistic vision to life. She was known for her strong work ethic, her commitment to prayer, and her faithful church attendance. Her creativity, dedication, and devotion to God guided everything she did.

Surviving are her sister, Emma Jean Jones; brother, Edward Earl Jones; Sister-in-law, Dorothy Jones, and brother-in-law, Apostle John Williams, all of Racine. Her nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends also survive her.

In addition to her loving parents, Mary was preceded in death by six sisters, Emma (James) Toles, Pastor Navalla WIlliams, Martha Louise (Webster) Fondren, Betty (Carl) Gamell, Catherine (J.C.) Jones, Laura (Fred “Junior”) Townsend, and her twin sister, Mabel Jones; brothers, Currie Jones, Perry (Christine) Jones, Jack (Mary) Jones, Nathaniel (Mary Clotteal) Jones Jr., Tommie Jones, and sister-in-law, Victoria Jones.
