Mary A. Manning-Ford, 65, completed her earthly pilgrimage on September 7, 2021. She was born in New Albany, MS, on November 11, 1955, the daughter of Jewel and Mary (nee: Traylor) Manning.

Mary had been employed as a RCT2 at SWC until her retirement. She loved playing cards and board games with family and friends. Mary was an avid reader. She enjoyed being with family and friends.

Surviving are her husband, William; two daughters, Celeste " Punkin" Manning  and DeZaRay Ford; grandchildren, Jennea, Jameel, and Jenese Cunningham, and Dajanae Manning; siblings, Nabeeh William Tolbert (Beverly Jean)  EL-Amin, Curtis Gilbert (Jane) Manning, Dorothy Helen (John Brown) Manning, James Russell (Young Me) Manning, Henry Lee (JoAnn) Manning, Lewis Edward Manning, Robert O'Neil Manning, Kevin Scott (Victoria) Manning, Patricia Ann (Dwight Moore) Manning; surviving aunts and uncle,  Marie Helen Shambin, Hattie Sue Jones, Robert Junior Traylor. Mary is further survived by her nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Service Details

A memorial service, celebrating her life, will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, September 16 ^th , at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Ernest Ni'A officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on that Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
