Mary Ann Steiner, 78, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 14th, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Oshkosh, WI on September 4, 1942 and is the only beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (nee: Lang) Kellerman.

After graduating from high school, Mary Ann obtained her beautician certification. On August 10, 1963, in St. Peter Catholic Church, in Oshkosh, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ellis E. Steiner. In 1964 the Steiner's moved to Plainfield, IL and in 1970 relocated to their family home in Racine.

Mary Ann was a member of Faithbridge Church-Downtown Campus (formerly EUM) where she served as the Sunday School Superintendent and sang in the choir. She also was a member of the Christian Women's League. After being an amazing stay at home mom and raising her family, Mary Ann had been employed in retail at Boston Store, Eitel's, and retired from Talbots as a key holder in 2009. In retirement she loved to gather with her knitting group, going out Wells Brothers pizza, spending time with each of her grandchildren personally and at all of their events, and enjoyed building memories with her family. The two greatest loves of her life were her family and her faith.

Surviving are her loving husband of nearly 58 years, Ellis E. Steiner; their children, Michael J. Steiner and his wife, Nada Filipovich, of St. Paul, MN, Ann C. Steiner Saab and her husband, Fouad Saab, of Wauwatosa, WI, and Kathryn "Katie" J. Steiner, of Katy, TX; her grandchildren, Anya Steiner (Eric), Josef Steiner, Elise Steiner, Nicholas Saab (Hanan), Madeline Saab, Lily Saab, and Sophia Saab; great grandson Aiden Saab.

Service Details

Her funeral service will be held at the downtown campus of Faithbridge United Methodist Church, 212 11th Street, on Wednesday, May 19th at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Devin Tharp officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
