My Godmother, Aunt Maryellen, was a one of a kind soul. She was kind, fiercely loving, creative, graceful, artistic, and adventurous. She was also remarkably thoughtful – even at the ripe young age of 93, she never missed an opportunity to share one of her trademark, beautifully curated, care packages. She was always so kind and giving with her 5 year old Great-Goddaughter, even though they never had a chance to meet in person.

Aunt Maryellen was an important part of my childhood, and my brothers and I always looked forward to visits with her and her family…including our favorite babysitter, Perry!

Perry – I was so very sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful, sweet Mom. I know this is a difficult time, but I hope you can find some comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared with your Mom.

    All our love,
    Andrew, Tessie, and Tua

Aunt Maryellen was a dear friend to our family. She was thoughtful and generous, and never let us forget how much both she and God loved us. We will miss her delightful and detailed letters, and her bright, sparkling voice on the phone. We were blessed to have her in our lives, and find solace knowing that her joyful soul is now watching over us from Heaven. God bless Aunt Maryellen and all who loved her.
