Obituary

On July 11th, Mathilde Elisabeth Dietrich, famously known as "Oma", passed away at the young age of 95.  Born on May 6th, 1925, Oma emigrated to the United States from Germany in 1955 to join her younger sister in Racine WI.  There she settled in, started working at Rainfair making jackets, then moving on to be a custodian at Starbuck School and Olympia Brown, where she was most loved and respected by teachers for her hard work and attention to details.  After retirement, she embarked on a new journey to reside in Mesa, AZ, then moving to Austin, TX, then making the final round back to Racine, WI.  Oma was a very loving mother and the most loving grandmother, always proud of her boys.  Her time and teaching has left an everlasting impression on us all.  Oma was a super star.

She is survived by her three grandsons, Hans, Martin, and Peter, daughter-in-law Jessica, and great grandchildren Clay, Bella, Micah, Holden, Oliver, & Micaela….not to mention the  countless friends and other family members that she graced and showered with her love, care, and compassion.

Her spirit will remain with us always.  Her love will never be forgotten.
