Racine – Michael Alan Schram, age 59, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 29, 2025 after beating cancer several times in the past 12 years.

Michael was born in Racine on May 24, 1966 to Harold A. Schram and Carol Ann (nee: Greeley) Schram. After graduating from Washington Park High School, Michael worked alongside his brothers – operating MGM Construction for over 35 years.

Michael was a NASCAR, Jeff Gordon and Green Bay Packers fan. His lawn was always absolutely meticulous – just beautiful. Michael always looked forward to traveling with Wendy but always by car….never by airplane. Everyone that knew him, know that the 4th of July was Michael’s favorite day of the year. Nobody out did his annual fireworks show.

Surviving are his dad, Harold Schram; the love of his life, Wendy Pirk; sister, Michele (Robert) Kovac; brothers, Mark Schram, George Schram and Chris (Lynn) Schram; step-children, Kassie Ford and Justin Claus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his mom, Carol Ann Barnett; and sister, Lynn (Michael) Rodriguez.

Services celebrating Michael’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 7:00 pm. For those who wish, please come with a short story / memory to share. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

Testimonials

Cain

I just can’t get over how beautiful everything was for my mom’s funeral. She had a rough last four weeks but your amazing team totally did her justice! I was pretty confused during that hard time, but Brian, you made sure that all the “I”s were dotted and all the “T”s crossed. For that, I thank you. I also would like to thank the amazing team of makeup artists. My mom looked beautiful.
