Michael Joseph Goebel, 71, passed away at the Hospice House of Pleasant Prairie, on Friday, June 28, 2019. He was born in Racine on July 31, 1947 the son of the late Gordon and Betty Jean (nee: Ayers) Goebel.

After graduating from high school Mike joined the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Mike was a longtime employee of AT&T. He was united in marriage to Jacalyn Rose Jax. Mike was a Kenosha County Supervisor, a proud and active member of the Democratic Party, union activist, and was a past president of CWA Local # 4611. Mike also volunteered hundreds of hours for various needy organization.

Surviving ae his wife, Jackie; granddaughter, Nicole Jax; and grandson, Aiden Jax. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Jax, and brother, Patrick Goebel. A

A celebration of his life will be held at Casa Capri, 2129 Birch Rd., on Thursday, July 18 ^th from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In
