Michael J. Helvick, 42, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was born in Racine, on April 6, 1978, the son of Robert and Cori (nee: Svoboda) Helvick.

Michael had been employed as a supervisor for Shopko for over 25 years and has been with Amazon since the closing of Shopko. He was a staunch Republican and Trump supporter. Michael was very artistic and enjoyed drawing and painting.

Surviving are his parents, Robert and Cori; brother, Stephen (Amy) Helvick, and two nephews, Alex and Zach Helvick, all of Mt. Pleasant. Michael is also survived by his favorite great-aunt Lucille Cherney, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason; grandparents Gordon and Joyce Helvick, and Calvin and Delores Svoboda. In his memory Michael's family will be hoping for a BIG TRUMP WIN in November.
