Michael Patrick Rosienski (Rosi) , age 70, was called home to the Lord on Sunday July 7, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend to many and will be deeply missed.

Michael was born in Racine, WI on February 7, 1954 to Anthony and Hallie Rosienski, the youngest of three children. A proud alumnus of Horlick High School, Michael was a star basketball player, serving four years on the Varsity squad, which included attending multiple collegiate basketball camps with former Milwaukee Bucks. He went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a lifelong Badger fan and Wisconsin sports fan. He especially cherished his trips to Lambeau Field with his closest friends and son.

Following in his father's footsteps, Michael developed a love for plants and gardening which led him to a career in Landscape Design. As a young man, Michael pursued his dreams of starting his own landscaping business, "Michael's Landscape Design and Construction." He later became employed as a Landscape Architect by various prestigious landscaping companies such as Graf's Nature Center, Ray Hintz Inc., The Bruce Company, and his most recent tenure at Milaegers. Michael's artistic approach and unique design style helped shape the beauty of the greater Racine area. His works of art can be seen throughout the city, serving as a lasting testament to his talent and passion for enhancing spaces with beauty while establishing lifelong friendships along the way, one of his most notable accomplishments being the breathtaking butterfly garden at SC Johnson-Wingspread.

Michael will be remembered for dedicating much of his life to serving those he loved most. His gifts to others were never for praise, rather a kind gesture to show he cared about you – such as finding a flat of impatiens on your doorstep. His Fourth of July parties were a staple tradition to family and friends and are still reminisced about. Most recently, he was an active member of the Horlick Reunion Committee, working tirelessly to bring together old friends and classmates. He also was an avid nature lover and could recite anything you wanted to know about any plant or animal species. He had a way about him that all living creatures gravitated towards. Last but certainly not least, he adored his "Show Dog" Daisy, who was a constant companion and source of joy in his life.

More than anything, Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and close group of friends who are an extension of family. He most recently looked forward to gatherings at the Mosquito Inn on Sundays to visit with old friends. To say he lived for his children is an understatement. He sat through countless hours of dance performances, soccer, and basketball games and was so proud of each one of his children and their careers and accomplishments. Michael was strong in his faith, and often reminded his children of the importance of keeping God close in your heart and loving each other.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Anthony and Hallie Rosienski. He is urvived by children, Jayme(Joshua) Cramer, Jenna Rosienski (Zachary Taylor), and Jared Rosienski; grandchildren, Danica Mohrbacher and Addisyn Cramer; sister, Jill (Charles) Haubrich, and brother, Gregory (JoAnn) Rosienski.

A private Celebration of Life will be held to honor his legacy at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Froedtert Hospital Foundation's Heart and Vascular Center.
