Michele Louise Malacara, 56, of Racine, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, after losing her courageous battle with cancer. Michele was born in Racine on November 10, 1967, the daughter of Eriberto "Eddie" and Mary (nee: Casteneda) Malacara. Michele was a 1984 graduate of Washington Park High School. She was proud of being a "stay-at-home mom" for her children. Michele volunteered at all the significant events in the Racine Area, especially the 4th of July festivities. She was a prominent Packers and Brewers fan.

Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Trent Chones Sr; her six children: Andrew Malacara, Alexis Chones, Trent Chones Jr., Angelica Chones, Anissa Chones, and Aaron Chones; ten grandchildren: Madalynn, Makayla, Mia, Marco, Trent III, Harmony, Samuel, Juliana, Mark, and Aaron Jr.; parents, Eddie and Mary Malacara; four brothers: Eddie Malacara, Tony Malacara, Adam Malacara, and Bobby Malacara, all of Racine; a sister, Alissa Malacara, of Tucson, AZ. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive her.

Service Details

Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, September 29, at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
