Service Details

Family and friends are invited to visit the funeral home Friday, September 17, 2021, for a visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. There will be no formal service.

Michele “Mickey” “Mimi” “Mom” “Grandma” Swenson of Racine, WI, passed away at the young age of 56.

Michele was born on February 15th, 1965, to Harry and Marilyn Kelso in Racine, WI. She graduated from Lutheran High School. Mickey devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, staying involved in all family events. She was very crafty and especially loved her Saturday “family night” visits, playing cards with her in-laws. You could always count on her to be there for you in a time of need or for moral support. She was the best person you could have ever asked for to be a part of your life. Mickey was extremely thoughtful, giving, and kind. She was the best homemaker, always laughing at her grandkids while sitting on the porch playing Candy Crush on her phone. She also loved adding wind chimes to her porch, to hear their music, and windmills in her garden. She had a huge heart, especially when it came to her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Michele is survived by her children, Aaron, Ariel, Aric, Ariane and Arese; her siblings, Sherri, Keith and Renee; her mother, Marilyn; nine grandchildren, Tione, Leira, Lalani, Levi, Malachi, Avion, Amarion, King, Dream; nieces and nephews, LaDonna, Shana, Jessie, Tina, Chad, Keith Jr.; in-laws, Laret, Anna, Linda (Jon), along with many great-nieces and nephews. Michele was preceded in death by her father, Harry Kelso; grandparents; the love of her life, John Jordan; and best-friend, Tina “Lucy”.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home Friday, September 17, 2021, for a visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. There will be no formal service.
