RACINE – Mike Petrick, 62, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 12, 2013.

He was born in Racine on April 28, 1951, the son of the late Edward and Nancy (nee: Dunleavy) Petrick.

Mike graduated from William Horlick High School in 1969.

Mike last worked for Longview Fibre.  He enjoyed his personal time reading and watching and talking about sports; especially his beloved Cubs and Bears.

He is survived by his sons, Andy (Jenny) Petrick of Racine, Brian (Maura) Petrick of Milwaukee; his grandchildren, Cody (Brittney), Kyle and Jordan Petrick; his girlfriend, Vicki Metz of Racine; his friend and former wife, Frances Petrick of Racine and his brothers, Larry (Novelette) Petrick of Racine and Richard (Nori) Petrick of Stillwater, MN.

Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 for a visitation from 5-7 p.m.  A service honoring and remembering Mike's life with Rev. Mark R. Jones will follow at 7:00 p.m.  A private interment will take place at Mound Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested.
