Racine – Mildred "Midge" Fitch (Stewart), 79, was surrounded by the love of her family as she crossed into the gates of heaven on May 6, 2011. She was born on October 2, 1931 in Marion, Illinois to the late Carl and Bessie (nee: Brown) Stewart.

Mildred is survived by her five children, Barbara, Ralph, Debbie, Judy, and Beverly all of Racine; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived her sister, Dorothy Dixon of Springfield, Illinois; and her brothers, Ralph (Rose) Stewart of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Robert (Floydie) Stewart of Racine. Mildred was preceded in death by her sons, Steven and Gregory; her sister, Doretta Small; and brothers, Carl, Harold, James, Joe, Clarence, and Marcus Stewart.

Homegoing services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 with Pastor James Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m
