Racine – Minnie Louise Watson was born August 20, 1935 to the union of Currie L. and Rosie L. (nee: Byrd) Naylor in DeKalb, Mississippi. She received her formal education from the DeKalb School System and furthered her education by attending and graduating with an Associate Degree in Education from Milwaukee Area Technical College with honors and making the Dean's List every semester.

Minnie confessed Christ as her savior at an early age, at the family church in DeKalb Mississippi.

In 1953 Minnie Louise Naylor met and married Ralph Rush and that union was blessed with three children.  After moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Minnie met Willie Watson Jr. and they became husband and wife, their union was blessed with one child.

Minnie Louise Watson was employed by Milwaukee Public Schools for twenty-eight years before retirement. She enjoyed Jigsaw Puzzles, Crossword Puzzles, Playing Hand-Held Slot Machines and Reading.

Minnie Louise Watson departed this life Saturday, February11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Currie L. Naylor and Rosie L. Naylor; husbands, Ralph Rush. and Willie Watson Jr; her daughter, Cheryl Rush; son, Micheal Mitchell, siblings; Robert, Mamie, Lottie, Janie and Helen. In laws, Henry, Robert, Asteen and Lee.

Minnie Louise Watson leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children, Ralph and Terri Rush of Las Vegas, NV. Tracye (Todd) Dyess, Don (Kathy) Bennett of Racine, WI; grandchildren, Sean, Delando, Lelah, Tiffani, Tamika, Aaron, Arik, Micheal Jr, and Travean; great grandchildren  and great-great grandchildren; sisters in Law, Arlene Watson-Tutt, Alfreda Smith, Frances Smith and Dorithy Gray and a host of nephews, nieces and other loving family members and friends.
