Obituary

Myasia N. Franklin, age 22, of Racine passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 4, 2022.

Myasia was born in Racine on December 6, 1999, the daughter of Balorie Saffold and Laron Franklin Sr.  She attended Racine schools and was a 2018 graduate of Park High School

Myasia was a very caring and giving person to all. She loved all children and spent any time she could with them. Her siblings were her pride and joy. She was a "Jill" of all trades. She was always known as the life of the party. She could make you laugh and forget about all your problems.

Survivors include her parents, Balorie Saffold and Laron Franklin Sr.; her siblings, Davion Saffold, Leah and Lariya Franklin, Laron Franklin Jr., and Labron Franklin; her life partner, Shanira Harris; her maternal grandparents, Mary Saffold Peaches and Robert Townsend; her paternal grandparents, Ricky Franklin Sr. and Cheryl Franklin, and her paternal great-grandfather, Robert Franklin Sr., her aunts and uncles, Kimberly and Darnell Saffold, Tasha Wright, Elizabeth Walker, Ricky Franklin Jr.; her Godmothers, Marilyn Davis, Deborah Allen, Aldrenna Smith, and a host of other relatives and friends.
