Among their interests, they enjoyed participating in local & out-of-state car shows, swap meets, cruising their hot rods and Harley, socializing with their extensive circle of friends, and stopping in at The Bunker in Waterford. Above all, they loved spending time together – especially when with their adored daughter, Caitlyn.

Surviving are their loving daughter, Caitlyn (fiancé, Ryan Neu) Burmeister; Nadine's brothers, Bruce, Alan & Nordman Thordson; Phil's brothers, Robert, Greg (Amy) & Deacon Danny (Annette) Burmeister; sisters-in-law, Helene and Karen Burmeister; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends – too numerous to mention all by name.
