Obituary

RACINE – Nancy A. Mohrbacher, 74, passed away at her residence on March 2, 2018.

She was born in Kenosha on July 13. 1943, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Edith (nee: Buswell) Jones, Sr.   Nancy graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.

On June 24, 1989 she married Albert Charles Mohrbacher, Jr. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2011.

Nancy was a longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon.  She had a passion for fishing, playing dominoes and other games, puzzles and watching the Packers.  However, she was happiest while in the company of her family; especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Weisbrod and Jennifer Babilon of Racine; her stepchildren, Debra Mohrbacher of Sturgeon Bay and Christopher (Sarah) Mohrbacher of Wisconsin Rapids; her grandchildren, Miranda Babilon, Tyler Babilon both of Racine, Brennan Mohrbacher and Caleb Mohrbacher both of Wisconsin Rapids; her sister, Sue Jones of Kenosha; her brother-in-law, William Runde of Pompano Beach, Fl; as well as dear nieces and nephews.  Nancy was also preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Runde and brother, Lawrence (Barbara) Jones, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday evening for a visitation from 4-6 p.m.  A service celebrating her life will take place at Covenant Presbyterian Church (40 Ohio Street) on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jenny Gleichauf officiating. There will also be a visitation at church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A private interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Somers.  In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter (3333 N. Mayfair Rd. Suite #104  Wauwatosa, WI 53222) or Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Nancy's family extends a heartfelt thank you to Wheaton Franciscan Hospice as well as all the friends and caregivers that were so helpful during her illness.
