Navalla
Williams
Dec 1, 1949 — May 12, 2024
Pastor Navalla Williams was born December 1, 1949 in Taylor Mississippi, to the late Nathaniel and Elnora (nee: Martin) Jones, Sr. Navalla was a faithful member of Full Gospel Living Word Church, serving as Pastor under the leadership of her devoted husband, Apostle John C. Williams.
There was never a stranger Pastor Navalla met that she didn't witness to and bring them to Christ. She was affectionately known as the "Southside Pastor" for she was known to stop her vehicle in the middle of the street and call individuals to her vehicle, witness to them; and bring them to salvation. She would go out of her way to help people and bring people by the car loads to church to serve God. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was the Manager and Booking Manager of The Jones Sisters singing quartette for over 20 years!
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 53 years, Apostle John C. Williams; one daughter; Stephanie Williams of Racine, WI; and two sons: Stephan Williams and Kawan (Tiffany) Hiler both of Racine, WI. and a bonus daughter, Mae Sago Bailey of Racine, WI, First granddaughter Lanesa Williams, of Chicago IL and ten other grandchildren all of Racine, WI; three sisters; MaryLynn and Emma Jones both of Racine, WI; Emma (James) Toles of Taylor MS one brother Edward Earl Jones of Racine, WI and sister-in-law, Dorothy Jones of Racine, WI; brother-in-law, Fred "Junior" Townsend; and a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend; Dr. Lillie Elanie Braylock of Racine, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Elnora Jones, Sisters; Martha Louise (Webster) Fondren, Betty (Carl) Gamell, Catherine (J.C.) Jones, Laura Townsend, and Mabel Jones, brothers; Nathaniel (Mary Clotteal) Jones Jr. Jack (Mary) Jones, Perry (Christine) Jones, Currie Jones, and Tommie Jones, sister-in-law, Victoria Jones.
