CALEDONIA – Nick Knautz, 29, passed away on March 2, 2014.

He was born in Racine on April 5, 1984, the son of Frank and Jerri (nee: Jorgensen) Knautz. Nick graduated from JI Case High School in 2002.

He last worked as an emergency room technician at WFH – All Saints.   Nick loved the outdoors.  He especially enjoyed the water where he mastered his passion of waterskiing.  He also swam, golfed and rode motorcycles.  Nick will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Nick is survived by his daughter, Olivia Knautz; his former wife, Molly Casarsa and step-son, Logan Zdanowicz of Kenosha; his parents, Frank and Jerri Knautz of Caledonia; his sister, Jessica Knautz of Racine; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, March 7, 2014 for a visitation and time to meet with his family from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m.  A service honoring and celebrating his life will follow at 6:30 p.m.    In lieu of flowers, donations to the Olivia Knautz Education Fund at Educators Credit Union would be appreciated.
