Nicole Frances
Egerson
Mar 30, 1973 — Jul 16, 2026
Arrival: March 30th, 1973 Farewell: July 16th, 2026
Surrounded by the love of her children, Nicole Frances Egerson (AKA: Niki J) of Racine, stepped into eternal life on Thursday, July 16, 2026 after suddenly passing away. As Nicole was always a person putting others before herself, we know that she is now in a place that rewards her with the luxury of treating her the way she treated others; giving her the peace she's always deserved. Nicole was born in Racine, Wisconsin on March 30, 1973 to Beverly and Francis James. She then went on to be a noble big sister to Erik James. After becoming a graduate of Washington Park High School, Nicole involved herself in the healthcare industry to accommodate for her big heart. On June 26, 1999, Nicole was united in marriage with Shawn Egerson and from that union came their two sons, Payton and Jaydon, and their only daughter, Ivy. After working as a patient service representative for twenty-six years, Nicole expanded her efforts to care for others through pursuing a Medical Assistant certification. Through hard work, Nicole received her CCMA certification and instantly jumped into the field where she thrived amongst her experienced colleagues. Nicole absolutely adored taking care of her children and doing things like laying out areas and having sleepovers in different rooms of the house, going shopping with her mom and daughter, joking around with her dad, watching scary movies with her brother, boy talk with her daughter, going to her sons' sports games and practices, playing card and board games with the entire family, going out with her friends, spending time in Vegas(specifically Mandalay Bay hotel), and laying with her cat (only the black and white one). Nicole represented God's word in Romans 12:21: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good," and she will forever continue that through her family. Nicole is survived by her mother and father, Beverly and Francis; her brother, Erik; her husband, Shawn; her children, Payton, Jaydon, and Ivy; her uncle, Charles (Joanne) Turner; her special aunt, Verline Walls, mother-in-law, Earlene Egerson; and many other relatives and friends who love her dearly. She was preceded in death by her best friend and grandma, Grace Turner; and her Uncle Dwight (Pam) Turner.
A celebration of Nicole's life and what she brought to this world will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, July 31, 2026 with Pastor Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Racine. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 am, while the service will begin at 11:00 am.
