Obituary

Racine, WI – Ottois Murray Barry, age 66, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 in Racine, Wisconsin. He was born the son of John W. and Lillie B. (nee: Driver) Barry, in Etta, Mississippi on December 22, 1954.

Ottois attended J.I. Case High School in Racine, Wisconsin where he played on the basketball team. After high school he was employed by J.I. Case Corporation in Racine, Wisconsin and then by American Motors in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was a talented musician, who loved all genres of music, he was well known for playing the guitar, but he also played other instruments very well. He was blessed with a large family and many friends that will miss him dearly.

Ottois is survived by his parents John and Lillie Barry; his sons Delray (Fredricka) Hunter and Tremaine (Michelle) Barry; his daughter Kalisha (Gerald) Nelson; his loving grandchildren Shanteria, LaDonna, Marteese, Asia, Uriah Jr., Zaine, Ashanti and Khalilah; 4 great-grandchildren; his sisters Eunice Redmond, Bernadette Barry, Cynthia (Clifford) Barker, Vivian (Marlon) Jamison and his brothers Darryl Barry, Orlando Barry and Cornell Barry as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents John W. and Katie B. Barry and Thomas E.  and Estella Driver; his son Marcel Barry, and his brothers, Gregory Barry and Horace Barry.

Ottois Murray Barry will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Visitation to Honor and Celebrate His Life will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, 3:00 – 6:00pm in the chapel of Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd., Racine, WI.
