Pamela "Pam" Ishman

Sep 3, 1955 – Oct 29, 2024

Service Details

Services celebrating Pam’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00AM until the time of service.

Memorial Suggestions

In lieu of flowers, Memorials in Pam’s name to the Wisconsin Humane Society and Tunnels to Towers are recommended.

Racine – Pamela “Pam” Ishman, age 69, passed away following a battle with cancer in the comfort of her own home.

Pam was born in Racine to the late Allen and June (nee: Forde) Ishman. A graduate of Horlick High School, Pam went on to work in the business world for many years, her current employer was WE Energies Group.

Pam’s interests included her horses, cooking, her dog Lola, flea markets, rehabbing furniture, and planning unique and wonderful trips for her family to enjoy. And of course, we would be remiss not to mention that she was known as the Queen of the comeback, her wit and wisdom, and sometimes “inappropriate” jokes. That along with her bright personality were her trademarks.

Surviving are her sisters, Cheryl Brown and Elizabeth Koleske; and many nieces and nephews. Pam was blessed to have many special friends and co-workers who were near and dear to her heart.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her brothers, Dana and Ronn Ishman; brother-in-law, Ray Brown; and sister-in-law, Donna Ishman.

The family would like to thank the team at Compassus Hospice for such excellent care, and the ladies she loved, Liz and Angie, because they became part of our family.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

My family and I would like to thank you and your staff for all the kindness and sincere expressions of sympathy that you extended to us during the loss of my son, Todd Swanson. We appreciate all the extra special things you did to help us through this very difficult time. We didn’t have to think ahead, we just had to be there while every little detail was taken care of by you and your staff. This made an impression on everyone that came, and I will never forget it. Thank you from all of us.
