Willie Scaife
Jul 7, 1938 — Dec 5, 2024
Racine – Pastor Aldred Willie Scaife, age 86, peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on December 5, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 7, 1938, in Marvell, Arkansas, to the late James and Anna (née Bridges) Scaife.
At twelve years old, Aldred accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while attending New Hope M.B. Church in Coffee Creek, Arkansas, under the leadership of Pastor Moses Scaife Sr.
In 1957, Aldred moved to Racine, Wisconsin. In 1961 Aldred was drafted into the United States Army and served from 1961 to 1963 as a sharpshooter stationed in Munich, Germany. He later continued his service with the Army Reserves for an additional four years.
In October 1968, Aldred met Ruby J. Scaife (née Simpson), and they have been together ever since. Their relationship grew into a lifelong partnership, and marriage on August 24, 1976. They shared over 48 years of love, and marriage. Aldred spent over 30 years at AMC/Chrysler, retiring in 1988. In December 1977, Aldred received a divine calling to preach and subsequently founded Holy Disciple Pentecostal Church, where he faithfully served as pastor for 37 years before retiring, and uniting at Trinity United Baptist Church.
