Patricia Ann Rivers - Wiskerchen

May 21, 1934 – Aug 3, 2012

Racine – Patricia Ann Wiskerchen, 78, passed away at Kindred – Kenosha North on Friday, August 3, 2012. She was born in Sister Bay on May 21, 1934, daughter of the late Kermit and Alberta (nee: Madden) Strandell. She was a Racine area resident for most of her life.

Patricia was a talented painter, and a lifetime supporter of the Racine Art Guild. She enjoyed gardening, and was quite proud of the flowers and plantings in and around her home. She was employed at Dyna-Seal, and was an Avon representative for many years.

Patricia is survived by her children, Cynthia (Tony) Karwowski, Derek Rivers, and Cheryl Rivers all of Racine, Cathleen Fuhrman of Pleasant Prairie, Brian Rivers of Minnetonka, Minnesota; and Jeffrey Rivers of Jackson; 14 grandchildren; 2 sisters and 1 brother, Mariam (Doug) Bacon, Darwin (Kathy) Strandell both of Racine, and Corrine Strandell of Milwaukee; her former husband Dale Wiskerchen of Tucson, Arizona; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard G. Rivers; her sons, Howard G. Rivers III, and Todd M. Rivers.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Memorials to the Racine Art Guild have been suggested.
