Obituary

Racine, WI – Patricia Ann Woods-Clark, also known as "Poola", was born on June 6, 1954, to Joseph and Eliza (nee: Jones) Woods In Greensboro, Alabama. She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and became a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.  Patricia received her formal education at Washington Park High School in Racine, WI and furthered her education at Milwaukee Business Training Institute. She went on to pursue her career as computer operator.  Patricia was united in holy matrimony with Melvin Clark on February 14, 1981, in Racine, WI. Their union was blessed with her one and only baby girl.  Patricia utilized her IT skills at Walkers, Modine, and CNH(IBM). In addition, she was also a loved apartment manager for many years at Trinity Terrace Senior Living.  In her leisure time she enjoyed collecting black figurines, Elvis memorabilia, going to casinos, cross stitching, trying new recipes, "Sisters Sundays", and spending time with her loving family. She was an avid member of the Retirees Social Club.

Patricia departed this life on March 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Woods; special great-niece, Tarae Patricia; father and mother-in-law, grandparents, three aunts and two uncles. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Eliza Woods; her husband, Melvin Clark; her baby girl, Dorian(Steven); stepchildren, DeCorey Harvey and Kimberly Clark; granddaughters, Mikyla "Kylie Pooh" Clark and Kennedy Sharp; her brother, Lonnie (Irene) Woods Sr; her sisters, Dorothy Woods-Lee, Claudette Woods, Wade (Roy) Laws, and god sister, Stacy Moore;  her nieces, Racquel Cobbler, Melissa and Michelle Stewart, Shana (Tehl) Borger, Lorrell Woods, Coretta Malone, Jordann Ellison, K'Marie Ozier, Kamyrnn McGee, Xyla and Yara Woods; her nephews, Milton (Joyce) Taylor, Jeffrey and Reggie Hubbard, Lonnie (Tegin) Woods Jr., and Kamari McGee; her god baby, Ava Stewart; special Boo Cameron McGee; three bonus daughters, DeChell Coleman, Jernisha Cooper, and Tonya Witherspoon; special friends, Debra Malone and Mercy Carter; the Clark and Franklin families and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Her Beautiful Life will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 11:00am at St. Paul Baptist Church, 1123 Center Street. Visitation will be in the church 10:00am – 11:00am.

Masks must be worn at all times while in the church. You must bring your own mask; they will NOT be supplied at the church.
