~~ Patricia E. Henke, 77, passed away in Surprise, AZ, on Monday, August 25, 2014, with her husband and daughter at her side. Patricia was born in Wausau, WI on January 18, 1937. The Henkes moved to Surprise, AZ after their retirement. She graduated from St. Catherine's High School. She was united in marriage to Gerald F. Henke on July 9, 1955, here in Racine. Patricia was an executive secretary at S. C. Johnson over 13 years, retiring in 1984. She was a former member of St. Edward, St. Mary, St. Lucy Catholic Churches, and later, Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City West, AZ. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, crocheting, knitting, and playing Mah-Jongg and Bridge. Surviving are her beloved husband, Gerald F. Henke; their children, Paul (Lisa) Henke, of Warrenton, VA, and Kathy Ross, of Littleton, CO; grandchildren, Jake Henke, Sarah Henke, Ryan Menozzi, and Talor Menozzi; great-grandson, Connor Henke; father-in-law Cliff Henke, of Racine; brother-in-law, Ralph (Jackie) Henke, of Knoxville, TN; sisters-in-law, Cheryl King, and Doris LaBrasca, both of Racine. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Levy Sime; son-in-law, Brian Ross; mother-in-law, Nettie Schifano Henke; aunt and uncle, Beatrice and Jack Konovsky. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
