MOUNT PLEASANT – Mrs. Patricia Ann Perrault, 89, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, September 7, 2026.

She was born in Racine on January 14, 1937, the daughter of the late James Irving and Mary Ellen (nee Cryan) Mann. She graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in 1955 and Dominican College in 1959.

Pat married Robert W. Perrault at St. Rose Catholic Church on December 26, 1959. Shortly after their marriage, Bob was deployed to Germany. Pat was able to join him there, and together they enjoyed exploring the food, meeting the people, and experiencing the country. Pat was especially proud of her time in Germany and the work she did helping servicemen receive their GEDs.

Pat and Bob enjoyed 64 years of marriage filled with laughter, dancing and family. Bob passed away on August 30, 2024. We rejoice knowing they are reunited, dancing and playing cribbage together, Manhattan in hand.

Pat worked as a schoolteacher for various parochial schools in Racine. She was always extremely smart and had the perfect temperament for teaching. She was calm, thoughtful and a great listener. While she was a bit quiet, if you asked her, she was happy to share her well-

thought-out opinions. Pat kept up with current events and was someone you would surely want on your team for a spelling bee or trivia game!

Pat was also particularly proud of her Irish heritage. She celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with enthusiasm, sending cards to family and friends, sporting her green attire, and enjoying a traditional Irish meal—perhaps with a green beer to complete the celebration.

A lifelong Catholic, Pat belonged to Sacred Heart, St. Lucy and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Churches. She enjoyed many activities with her husband, including dancing, traveling, playing cribbage, boating, and spending time at their cottage in Green Lake. However, Pat was happiest in the company of her entire family.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Jodi) Perrault and Dan (Laura) Perrault; her grandchildren, Jennifer Perrault, Catherine Perrault, Riley Perrault, Zoe (Tyler) D’Angelo, and bonus grandchildren Jason and Megan Runkel; her brother, James (Carolyn) Mann; as well as dear nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Angela (nee Hamell) Perrault; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Donald Mauch; and many beloved friends and relatives. Family and friends are invited to meet at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, September 17, 2026, for a visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A prayer service will follow at 5:00 p.m., with Fr. Thomas Vathappallil, MCBS, officiating. A private interment will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials have been suggested to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church or to one’s favorite charity.
