Patrick Narcis

Racine – Patrick C. Narcis, 60, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 22, 2007. He was born in San Fernando, Trinidad on October 27, 1946, son of late Cuthbert and Thedoica (nee: Coffy) Narcis. Patrick emigrated to the U.S. and settled in Racine in 1974. He had worked at Racine Silver Steel, JI Case, Jacobson Manufacturing, and for the last 5 years served as a Correctional Officer at Racine Correctional Intuition. Patrick enjoyed bowling in several leagues at Elmwood and Castle Lanes. He was a member of Christ Chapel MB Church for many years, and had recently joined St. Paul MB Church. He loved his church, and spent as much time there as he could. His favorite time was spent with family and friends. He is survived by his chosen family in Racine, his loving partner, Jackie Johnson; children Kimberly and Justin Johnson; mother and father-in-law Eula and Joe Johnson, brother and sister Cleveland and Mary Cornelious, and brother William Hall; aunt Lillie Jones; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Judy Johnson and Jason Johnson; grandson Tylan Johnson his daughters, Racquel Narcis-Daniel, and Tricia (Johnny) Narcis-Norton, both in Trinidad, and son Nijel Narcis of Racine; brothers and sisters Ingrid Narcis, Noreen Narcis, Claudette Narcis, Horace Narcis, Cherrl Ann Narcis, and Richard Narcis; 7 grandchildren all in Trinidad; as well as many dear friends. He was preceded by his brother Lincoln Narcis. Homegoing services will be held in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2007 with Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby presiding. Private burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation and viewing will be in the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m., and in the church beginning at 10 a.m.
