Garin
Apr 13, 1939 — Feb 10, 2007
Paulette C. Garin, 67, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, February 10, 2007, with her husband and her daughter at her side. She was born in Chicago, IL on April 13, 1939, the daughter of the late Paul and Monica (nee: Waitkus) Walters. On June 10, 1961, in St. Peter Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Walter R. Garin. Mrs. Garin had been employed by Trans-America, Fonte Foods, Queens Way Laundromat, Park Liquor, and Lou Perrine's. The job she took the greatest satisfaction from was taking care of her family. She was a past president of the P.T.A. and a former Brownie Leader. Mrs. Garin enjoyed her flowers and her garden, her dogs, cat and tropical fish. She loved to travel and most recently went to New York to see the Statue of Liberty, and at the time of her death was planning a trip to Alaska. Surviving are her devoted husband, Walter; their daughter Paulette Garin; brother, Richard P. Walters, all of Kenosha. Other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Zita Liebmann. Her funeral service will be held on Valentine's Day, February 14th, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Emma Justes officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Kenosha.
