Franksville – Peter J. McFarland, 57, passed away at AccentCare Hospice in Oak Creek on Sunday, May 29, 2022.

He was born in Racine on January 14, 1965, the son of the late James and Mary (nee Heil) McFarland.

Peter loved working as a mechanic.  He started with his family at McFarland Auto Sales before a long career at Harley-Davidson.  He retired in 2019 due to his failing health.

He enjoyed his time spent with his lifelong friends, Mark, Mike, Pat, and Brian.  They couldn't get enough motorcycles, fast cars, fishing, and snowmobile trips up North.

Peter is survived by and will be sadly missed by his longtime partner and love of his life, Linda Spaulding; his sister and brothers, Kathy Gabriel; Mike (Judy) McFarland, Jamie (Marianne) McFarland, Greg (Kris) McFarland; as well as dear nieces and nephews.

Peter's wishes were to have a small private family ceremony.  Those wishing to donate memorials in Peter's name are asked to consider the Wisconsin Humane Society – The Racine Campus (8900 16 ^th St. Mount Pleasant, WI 53406).
