Racine – Peter Slesarenko, 92, passed away in the comfort of his home on January 10, 2013. He was born in Racine on October 2, 1920, son of the late Fredor and Marianna (nee: Oleshkevich) Slesarenko.

Peter worked hard as an industrial blacksmith for many years at Kearney & Trecker. He was kind and gentle, and completely adored his wife, Ann.

Peter is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Dan) Foss; grandchildren, Jeff Foss and Valerie Foss all of Racine; sisters, Dolores Monnier of Kenosha, and Esther Pischke of Racine; and his dear friend and caregiver, Alexander Moran. Peter was preceded by his beloved wife, Ann; his sisters, Olga and Anna; and his brothers, Alex, Freddie, Richard, Raymond, and Max.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 4pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Visitation will begin at 3pm.
