Yorkville, WI – Phoebe L. Cozad; Mother of seven, World War II Flight Nurse, Registered Nurse, Public Health Nurse, School Teacher, Peace Corp Volunteer, loving grandmother and great-grandmother; passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday morning, September 22, 2009 at the age of 91. Born in Whitefish, Montana on October 20, 1917, she was a member of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church in Sturtevant. Phoebe will be laid to rest with her husband, Charles E. Cozad Sr., and youngest son, Raymond, in Golden Gate National Cemetery in South San Francisco, California. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in California at a date to be determined.
