Phyllis G. Kohler, 95, passed away at Brookside Care Center, in Kenosha, on Monday, July 15, 2019. She was born in Racine on April 21, 1924, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (nee: Moe) Alcorn Sr..

On July 11, 1942,  in Albuquerque, NM she was united in marriage to Edward F. Kohler, who preceded her in death on February 1, 1985. Mrs. Kohler had been employed by the Marine Bank until her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brighton. Mrs. Kohler was an award-winning quilter.

Surviving are her son, Thomas (Janie) Kohler, of Trevor, WI; two grandchildren, Jason (Krista) Kohler, of Cypress, CA, and Anne Morrill, of Bozeman, MT; sister, Camille Briton, of Paddock Lake. Other relatives and friends also survive her. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Susan Kohler, brother, Joseph Alcorn Jr., and her loving kitty, Gabby.

Service Details

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Russell Arnett, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1704-240 ^th Ave., Brighton on Tuesday, July 23 ^rd at 11:00 a.m. visitation will be in the Church, that day, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
