Quang Van Tran, 62, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011, with his family at his side. He was born in Vietnam on January 1, 1949, the son of the late Co and Hue Thi (nee: Vi) Tran.  Mr. Tran served as an officer in the Vietnam Navy. On January 5, 1977, in Vietnam, he was united in marriage to the former Tu Thi Phan.

Surviving are his wife Tu; children, Thi Tran, Stephen (fiancee, Shani Parker) Tran, and Diana Tran; grandson Noble Tran, all of Racine. His 2 sisters, and other relatives in Vietnam also survive him.

His Memorial Service will be held in funeral home on Sunday, December 4 ^th , at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends can meet with the family on Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
